The verdict of arms case against Rabiul Islam alias Arav Khan will be delivered on May 9.

Judge Murshid Ahmmed of the Sixth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court set the date for the announcement of the verdict.

Sujan Kumar Kundu, the then sub-inspector of Vehicle Theft Prevention and Rescue Team of the detective branch (DB) of the west, filed a case under the Arms Act against Rabiul Islam with Ramna Model Police Station in the capital.

On January 28, 2015, Arav Khan went to his father-in-law Sekendar Ali’s house at Moghbazar to realise money by threatening him (Father-in-law).

He was arrested in front of his father-in-law’s house with a loaded revolver.
